Mind blown fact: Samsung Galaxy S5

Today, I learned the most amazing thing ever!

I upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S3 to an S5, last summer. I always thought that the charger was different; it was a little bit of a headache considering it was not compatible with the rest of my micro usb charging devises.

BUT.... today my sister told me that I can actually charge my phone with my old charger. I doubted her at first but I tried it out and it worked! (plug the micro usb charger to the right side of the SGS5)

Congratulations Miss Colombia

Paulina Vega, also know as Miss Colombia, is now recognized as Miss Universe! Side note, she is only 22 years old!

Last night was the 63rd Annual Miss Universe Pageant. I actually forgot about it and tuned in 30 mins. late. I missed the exciting introductions and costumes worn by each contestant. I was able to watch the top 15 selected women.

Some things that came to mind when I was watching:

  • Contestants did not look like they where from their designated country
  • I did not like Prince Royce's performance, didn't feel like it belonged - didn't go with the environment
  • Nick Jonas looked great, could have left the white sneakers at home and opted for nice dress shoes
  • It must have been difficult for some of the contestants to mentally translate everything in their mind while presenting poise and sophistication
  • It was probably difficult for the top 5 women to understand their question from the judges
I really thought Miss Jamaica had a good chance at winning. When it was down to the bottom two, I knew Miss Colombia would have won due to her answer from the social media question.
“What is the greatest contribution of your country to the entire world?”
The first thought that came to my mind for USA, one word, "FREEDOM"

This is Miss Nia Sanchez, also know as Miss USA and Miss Nevada.

Some interesting facts:
  • Age: 24
  • Avid traveler
  • I love her dress above ^^

Kate Spade: Cedar Street Darla Review

Last month, I visited my local outlet mall, (so thankful to have an outlet mall 20 mins. away) the weather was a little cold but luckily the mall was not crowded. I would say the only store that was really crowded, would be the Tory Burch store, they had a waiting line outside.

Our first stop, out of convenience, was the Nautica store. I was so glad to see some really cute sweaters, which where also on sale for $20 each. Our main stop was for the Kate Spade store, they where having such a great sale, 60% off the entire store. We first came out with a couple of purses and bracelets, (as an added bonus, they offer a 15% student discount). We then stopped next door to the Michael Kors store, where I saw some really cute ID holders.

Leather Card Case $48

My mom and sister told me they had saw some very smiliar at Kate Spade. I decided that for the price and the size, Kate Spade was the winner. I went back and picked up a Cedar Street Darla - Pillboxred
Cedar Street Darla $78 after discount $27

It was a no question, that Kate Spade was a better deal. Although it is bigger then my previous card holder, it was time to retire my old Juicy one. The main difference between the two is the size and zipper vs snap opening.

As you can see from the wear, it has been very loved, around 7 years of love.
